I bought a bike that has the complete TBR exhaust with what I believe is the P1X power tip. I think it is illegal for the street which is understandable because it is way too loud. Is there a db killer I can slide into the inlet that will quieten it 7-10 decibels? If not, is there an inexpensive muffler that will slide on in place of the TBR can? I don't ride it hard so the loss of a few horsepower isn't a problem.

Kind of anecdotal, but when I had a CBR600RR with a two brothers exhaust it was too loud for my liking. I bought a two brothers power tip, which bolted into the endcap of the muffler. It reduced the diameter and made a big difference in sound for me. Less bass and boomy ness, no more drone. I kept that on the exhaust until I sold the bike.

If its still too loud for you with the power tip in, im not sure what else you can do instead of changing exhausts.
