SC Project CR-T

Is anyone running a SC Project CR-T Full System on their FZ?

I currently have an Akra Ti which I love the sound and performance. However the under belly style muffler limits rear wheel location in the swing-arm when using a 180/60 profile tire with modified rear linkage and shock. I want to have more of the adjustment range available to allow more gearing change options at the track.

I know the SC Project CR-T will allow tons of clearance for rear wheel adjustment. I believe its lighter than my Akra as well. And maybe louder, I run mine without a baffle, its a dedicated track bike.

I just don't want to give up any power / performance from the Akra.

Thanks

Ed

Hi Ed. I dunno about the SC (sorry) but I do know the Yosh R-77 has plenty of clearance for a 180/60 rear (PIrelli or Dunlop) with Robem or AP MotoArts rear linkage.

Thanks Michael. I’m leaning towards the SC because it is more compact, the muffler is smaller than the Yosh. It sits closer to the swingarm, more like my Akra does. It also looks like it will fit my belly pan without any mods too.

I had the carbon CR-T on my bike, its obnoxiously loud but sounds really good and looks good too IMO. I never had the bike dyno'd but it did feel like it lost a little bit of low end power, which makes sense because that pipe does taper and open up A LOT. At idle, especially with a cold start its just pure music to the ears🤘
