pauljr Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 Picked it up this afternoon, got to put on 130 miles, enough to know this bike is just what I was looking for. The R1200R probably won't be getting much attention from here on out. Not much room for my wife to ride along, the mirrors could be a bit further out and the turn signals don't fit the look of the bike to me. It really feels light, goes around corners so sweet, has a nice thrum and the power (I'm still on break-in) is really more than I expected. At this price.....what a winner! I've had mine since early Feb, and I thought I could live with the melons, but just ordered some small LED signals yesterday. There are lots of people who have replaced them, and it doesn't seem like that bad of a swap (although, I haven't done it myself, but will be soon). Nice bike choice!
