Got one today! Couldn't be happier -- but the break-in period is going to be torture!

Congrats, I see you have good taste in choosing colors. Break in period will definitely test your patience.

Just remember the book says avoid prolonged operation above 4,000 rpm, not avoid any operation above 4,000 rpm. Have some fun. The big thing is not to stay at the same rpm for very long. And welcome to the forum :).

1000 miles take it easy is what is says but on the other side they say ride it like you are going to ride it.

Congrats on the bike !

Thanks all! Got in a nice 85 miler today two-up from Torrance to Malibu Canyon with a nice lunch at ye olde Rock Store. No celeb sightings but tons of nice bikes, including some early 80's Ducati racer that got a lot of attention.

I do think a new seat is in my future, though!

Welcome. Get that break-in period done! I am almost past the 600 mile mark on mine.

P1: Vice? I have no vice, I'm as pure as the driven snow!
P2: Yeah but you've been drifting

All the gear all the time!
