Rudolpho Posted April 9, 2015 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Hey guys, took my FZ from Spokane to Boise yesterday, over 400 miles, and when I got here final odom says 650. It's time for my first service but I'm obviously 400 miles from home and tools. Should I do it while I'm down here or will it be okay riding it another 400 miles then doing the change? yamahaha Posted April 10, 2015 Share Posted April 10, 2015 First service is probably the most important. I would not tack on another 400 miles if only for warranty issues later on. I did mine a few miles over and the oil still looked like new. Hard to say how much crap the oil filter picked up though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
