Triumph Street Triple headlight retrofit

I wanted to see how my favorite headlights would look on the FZ-07, so I did a quick rendering...

I think the angular double headlights go pretty well with the FZ-07, and give the front end a little more girth. I also blacked out the frame as well as the front fender and rear foot peg area.  What do you think?

Meh, the Street Triple headlights always just looked like they were missing a fairing around them.

Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up.

I have a friend with a Street Triple with the round headlights. I think the round ones look better than the angled myself.

That is some nice photoshopping though, pgeldz.

Definitely like the black frame. I regret not getting it on my white FZ-07 or getting a red one with black frame and painting the tank. The headlights are a pass for me. Seems like they are missing the fairing around them. Meh

The headlights are the only thing I don't like about the street triple. Oddly enough, they don't look half bad on the FZ

That crap is ugly as hell. It reminds me of the 80s movie "The Fly"
Agreed it reminds me of a fly, I'd pass on them.

Who keeps bumping up these ancient threads? The street triple's lights are mounted to the frame, not the triple tree like most nakeds. It would be difficult to get the same aesthetic when trying to retrofit them.

Lol, yeah...After mulling it over, I like the original OEM headlight best on this bike also :)

That's MotoLady's  custom Duc. It's getting repaired at the moment.
+1 on the all-black frame with the black foot pegs. I thought about blacking out the foot pegs but didn't see a point unless I did the frame... which will probably never happen.

LOL. I can't help that I jumped the gun and bought it right when it came out. I didn't THINK to look at frame colors being different on all the bikes. I just wanted one!  O_o

Having owned a 2008 Striple, I prefer the round headlights to the newer angular style. I don't think either would look good on this bike. In fact, I'm having a hard time with aftermarket aesthetics on the FZ in general.

I think it looks cool as heck! Kind of an insect or alien look.

Why can't left turners see us?
