How's it going! Name's Tommy, super noob rider from El Paso, living in Florida. Looked at bikes for months and finally went with a 2015 FZ-07 for my first bike. I'm still nervous about having such a pretty new thing as a first bike but I'm surprised how confident I feel on it already. Looking forward to learning to rip on it, having tons of fun so far.

Congrats on your bike @tmlicking. Excellent choice. Don't be over confident and take it easy. And dress for the occasion. I know, I know, I sound like your mother.

gratz on the purchase @tmlicking
Have fun but be safe. These bikes love to stand up if ya give em too much too fast. Welcome to the community

Welcome and you will love it.   Sheesh... how would it be to have the FZ-07 as your FIRST BIKE??? Mine was a 2 stroke Yamaha 80. :-[

I second the "be careful", and... even more dangerous than "standing it up" is "laying it down" by giving it too much throttle in a corner.

Why can't left turners see us?

Welcome! Be careful in the curves, using the throttle and making turns.
