Sunday may be a bust, we may have to go North.

Doing this ride tomorrow. The weather forecast looks good in the morning. The weather forecast was accurate for today, and the pattern is the same for tomorrow.

Anticipating poor road conditions and the likelihood for debris, and will ride with extra caution and at a slower pace.
I'll be at the Big Tujunga Shell at 7.30am if anyone is down for some FZ07 ADV riding. I like this weather too much and won't miss this opportunity.

I ran through ACH today. I was clear skis and sprinkling when I left. I had to wait 1 hour for the storm to pass by. I figured the worst as over. When I got to Newcombs that's when It really started to rain. Went back down to shell station to escort my buddy and then rode ACH back up home. By then it was pouring! My leather suit weighed about twice as much if not more after I got home.

Good ride regardless. No regrets.

You guys should come up north to ride HWY 33. Tomorrow isn't looking good. Suppose to rain tomorrow and Monday.

CalTrans on ACH is impressive. The road was nearly immaculate. Just a handful of spots of gravel washed onto the road. And an occasional rock. I have seen much worse conditions. I didn't ride the lower section, from Big T to the Shell. So don't know what conditions were like down there.

You had great timing. Sunday night ACH was closed from Islip Saddle to just West of Big Pines due to multiple mud slides. And apparently there was a fire in Big Pines due to lightening.
