landisse Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 I was out of town for a week and when I returned I noticed that my chain has some slight surface rust on it. Cleaned it with some wd40 and pj1 blue as best as I could. Is it normal for the chain to have a little bit of rust on it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
cndnmax Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 Are u sure it was rust? The internal lube is a dark red rusty color, if that's what your seeing you'll need a new chain.
