afwestpunk
Temp experiment with smoke PlastiDip over the headlight. I will be removing it after a few weeks to replace it with dark smoke tint which will match my trucks tint. Here are a few snaps: Turning on the power Light on It does not effect the light output as some may think as night rides have not been an issue and I live in farm country "It takes an idiot to do cool things; that's why it's cool" - FLCL
olderthandirt
Looks just like the headlights on my 94 Nissan Altima. Going for the vintage look? Congress is the only whore house in the United States that loses money.
afwestpunk
just temp protection before the tint comes in. The bugs out here are pretty massive and could pit the light which would screw up the application "It takes an idiot to do cool things; that's why it's cool" - FLCL

Let us know how the dark turns out. Georgia we have those ridiculous bugs too. Had one hit me in the stomach today and it wasn't very pleasant. Guest montana07
Not really a fan, but could see a darker tint looking cool. Either way I appreciate your experiments.
Global Moderator Guru Posted July 31, 2014 Global Moderator Share Posted July 31, 2014 Never seen a plasti-dipped head light before. Amazing that it doesn't affect the light output. Does the future dark tint effect it? I personally prefer a clear lens.
olderthandirt
Windex would affect the light output if you didn't wipe it off. Congress is the only whore house in the United States that loses money.
afwestpunk
my old RR had dark smoke tint but I also had HID's If they were blacked out I would bet there would be a problem "It takes an idiot to do cool things; that's why it's cool" - FLCL
