Premium Member grahamfz07 Posted August 27, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted August 27, 2015 I went on an awesome ride today, knocked off a few of the "destination highways" along the way. Started in Vancouver and passed through Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, Lilooet, Lytton, Boston Bar, Hope, Aggasiz, and mission. Overall was a great ride, lots of nice twisties to learn on. Although i started getting a little too confident halway along and had one "woops" moment coming in way too fast into a left, downward turn. There was a small gravel shoulder, and concrete barrier between me and the cliff. I started braking too late and ended up keeping a little front brake on in the turn, of course my eyes were glaring at the concrete barrier,so i ended up on the small gravel shoulder and luckily rode it out till i hit the pavement again. The bike got a little squirrely when the tires left pavement as i was still doing about 80kmh, didnt touch the brakes and just smoothly rolled on the gas as things straightened out with the bike facing the road again. Other then that it was an awesome day, logged about 600km for that ride. [attachment id=829" thumbnail="1]
