asher
Hi guys. Im a new MT-07 owner from Christchurch, New Zealand. Im not a new rider but i have been incredibly lazy and havent sorted out getting my full license so i have had to buy some thing learner approved. I have owned: 2001 FXR150, 1993 RGV250, 2006 ZX6R and a 2015 KTM RC390. I love the bike, although i need to do something about the suspension ASAP. The front end is soft, lacks damping and springs back way too fast and the rear isnt much better. I have done a bit of looking and it looks like an Ohlins rear shock from my ZX6R is a pretty good replacement, although im not sure it will fit because of the reservoir. Reading up on the suspension it looks like my best (and cheapest) option is to replace the springs, heavier fork oil and adjustable preload caps. Any advice on this would be great. Looking forward to learning from you guys and here is a few pics of the beast:

Unfortunately since the earthquakes the city has gone downhill, it's slowly getting better but it won't be such a nice place to live/visit for quite a while. Global Moderator sorkyah Posted November 9, 2015 Global Moderator Share Posted November 9, 2015 Welcome kiwi Loving what youve done with her so far. What bars are those? On the suspension topic... i would highly recommend @pattonme's fork cartridge refrofit. Got em for my bike about a few weeks ago... front end dive is completely gone and the bike just feels better Or you can do a complete swap. Up to you. ATGATT... ATTATT, two acronyms I live by.
