Looking at you @Beemer. I recently had a great time applying 3m refelective tapes to my helmet and was pleased with the result. Next up will be the bike. Lets see what we can do to spice up our night time rides! No 'Rimtape only' pics please, lets keep things unique and creative. IMO buying teenie rolls of thin weak "rim tape" is a scam so I searched out other sources that will give you far more, and far better quality tape for about the same $$. Even one 1inch-20-30' roll with the splitter is far more than I could possibly hope to use up. The splitter although expensive is invaluable for obvious reasons. Get it! My last attempt I couldn't even get two lines to have the same space in between ?This tape is pretty rubbery...I dunno, I was slow and patient and held it taught, sliding my finger along as the guide as I slowly went along in a continuous motion. If it seemed to go off course even a little I pulled it up, back an inch or so from where it went off course and tried again. Trying to do it in one slow contiuous motion kept it from developing those janky curves. Probably not much help, just gotta keep on trying until you get the feel for it. Could also help that I do this kind of hand-eye-precision stuff everyday for a living. I love the "anal retentiveness" of it. Crush your enemies. See them driven before you.
