canyoncarver31 Posted May 4, 2016 Share Posted May 4, 2016 I have several sets of take offs from my R1 Ive used at the track with lots of rubber left. All are Pirielli superbike in 200/60s. Has anyone mounted a 200/60 or even a 200 on the FZ? Wondering if there is gonna be any clearance issues. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Premium Member blackout Posted May 5, 2016 Premium Member Share Posted May 5, 2016 The 180 is already a wide tire for the FZ07, so a 200 will most likely sacrifice handling. You will also need to make sure the 200 tire is rated for the FZ07 wheel width, or the tire profile will be off. The wrong profile could give a smaller contact patch at some lean angles.
