Boulder CO to Pocatello Idaho in one day

My son, who lives in Portland, just bought a Triumph Street Twin and we decided to meet up over the Memorial Day weekend about half way between his place and mine. I'm not a newbie by any means (this is my 15th motorcycle) but this will be 585 miles, most on interstates (yuk). I wish I could make it two days but that's not in the cards. Any advice? - recurveshooter

Start early, take frequent breaks and know when it's time to quit.
 
Are you making the return trip in one day also?  :-S
