It's especially tempting if I'm only going a short distance. I haven't let myself do it though, no matter what, I put the jacket and gloves on. The worst is if I go to the gym on the bike, I'm hot and sweaty and putting that jacket on is torture at first. Your story will motivate me to never get lazy with my gear though, thanks for sharing and glad you're safe. yep, sweat washes off. Road rash? Not so much. reaper308 Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Glad you and your lady are OK living in Florida it gets up over 100 plus with humidity making it even hotter I always ride with full gear I look at it like this if its to hot for me to wear my gear I leave the bike at home and take the cage no matter how bad I wanna ride my wife rides with me some and she knows my rule no gear no ride "all the gear all the time " Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
