howlinhoss
Nice job. Are you worried about interference between the clip ons and tank fairings/air scoops?
YZEtc
Will the fork leg hit the lower triple clamp before the fork bottoms?
howlinhoss
Will the fork leg hit the lower triple clamp before the fork bottoms? Saw that too. Your travel is greatly reduced at this point.
pattonme
and you've dropped the front something fierce, what 30mm? If you use ZX6F stanchions you get 15mm of that back (you also get cartridges but that's a different story). I would have recommended cutting the plastic "protector" and installing under the triple. And getting (infinite) height-adjustable clipons.
Frosty
The forks actually bottom out before it gets too close to touching. I've had my FZ07 lowered like that for about 3000 miles. The travel on the stock forks isn't that great. And you can't turn it to full lock without touching the air scoops. Don't know if i'm going to leave it like that or get different clip ons with risers and mount it under the triple tree.
