I drive through several security gates and sometimes it is difficult hearing the guards. Just want something that will make talking to others a little easier. My only fear is that is tend to misplace the foam ones all the time. Go through 3 or 4 pairs a week. Cant do that if they are 20 bucks a pop! They're easy to clean, come in a little plastic box for storage in your pockets, and they lower the sound to a point where I can still hear people as well as the exhaust.
