revolvingrain
I'm looking to have my headlight replaced with a projector and an angle eye. I have been thru pretty much every forum and while I have a general idea of what parts I need for the project i don't know the specifics of what i need. Is there anyone who could help me out and guide me thru this? Thanks!

jmacas87
Thank for the link.. ^^^^ I can help. I did a budget build but can easily help you with any projector retrofit. Looks like you want a projector shroud with built in led angel eyes... What's your budget? I can help walk you through with the specifics

I'm willing to go all out with a high quality projector and angel eye but don't know what brand i should go with and also where this all goes plugged in on the bike. I know that i can pug in the eye into the aux port... but dont know the maximum watts i can run for example. I bought a separate oem headlight housing so that I dont ruin my original one
jmacas87
@revolvingrain in that case start here: projectors and hid kit: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/motorcycle-stage-1-single.html Choose options Note: -When picking the shrouds, I can only attest that the gatling gun and e46-r shroud fit inside our headlights. I'm sure others fit, I just don't have experience other than those. You can use the dimensions photos to be sure. -Get the h4 wiring harness Halohttps://www.theretrofitsource.com/led-lighting/led-halos-strips/halos-morimoto-xsb-3-0.html You can wire the halo's however you want. You don't need to use the aux port, you can just run them on the same power as your hid ballast power. (from h4 harness) One led halos power draw will be negligible whichever route you go with. mugen
Would it be a good idea for him to wire the halo to the little bulb in the headlight housing? Would that make the halo run even if the headlight is not on?
jmacas87
The power from that bulb would work fine, however the headlight and marker light always come on with the bike. You could wire up a separate switch or something to turn the headlights/halo off independently in any combination.

What size Halo would i need for this set up? It starts at 70mm and goes to 120mm. I screenshoted a picture of the projector dimmensions
