chilland
I just installed CRG RC2 levers and the brake lever doesn't seem to snap back all the way sometimes. My brake light will stay on until I tap it the rest of the way. Its well greased and not overly tight. Something is just very slightly off. Has anyone had an issues with these levers (or any new levers)? Any idea if maybe its a slight clearance issue and I can maybe sand down an edge? Definitely could use any kind of insight. markstertt
Some others have experienced similar issues with aftermarket levers, if they were expensive then maybe a call to seller. I went cheap Chinese and they worked fine but at the cost I would have eagerly filed to fit before trying to return to China. Good luck.
ddog
I have the same levers and never experienced that issue. I would definitely speak to the retailer or manufacturer.
chilland
Thanks. I got in touch with Revzilla and they are swapping it out. I'm wondering if it was just on the edge of the machining tolerances and my bike is a bit snug. We'll find out when the new one shows up I guess. Hopefully I don't end up with just a new clutch lever.
chilland
The new lever works great. Definitely recommend them in the end.
