brokenhat
Hi anyone use the https://tstindustries.com/TST-LED-Front-Flushmount-Turn-Signals-Yamaha.html and if so were they bright enough and any other comments would be appreciated?
Redstang4
Lots of people run them. Out of all of them I don't think I've heard 1 bad thing about them on this site. fz07.org search for tst leds
myrcode
I didn't like them at all. I loved the GTR-Halo version on the R3 but the FZ-07s were not bright enough for me. They were barely visible during the day and moderately bright at night. I switched them out for the Proton front LEDs and I like them much better, but you're looking at a higher cost. I posted photos and videos of both in the turn signal LED thread here https://fz07.org/thread/4692/show-me-turn-signals?page=

Could be the Google Photos privileges. I re-uploaded them to YouTube. Let me know if those don't work.
brokenhat
Wow what a difference, Proton 500's it is! Did you have to get an LED relay as well?
alexlj92
I second the proton 500 LEDs. I have them installed and if you look directly at them at night when theyre blinking you will orange circles when you look away. Riding at night and throughout the day I have noticed people directly looking at them as they drive by. Whatever helps me get noticed. I set mine with the included magnet to blink 3 times in rapid succession for every blinker cycle. Of course you're looking at $75 plus shipping for them. Compared to a much lower price for the TST versions. I have a relay on mine. Otherwise they blink double time. This is the relay I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RM26LXO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It has worked fine for 2 months now without any issues. alexlj92
I can't say for sure, but that looks to be the same one just sold by someone else based on the specs listed on the black relay part "LF1-S-PIN MAX 150W". I am no expert, but it looks like the same part.
worty
I too have the TST and they are fine at night but not bright enough for my liking in the day time. I can tell other drivers can't tell I'm turning when facing them. I too am going to be ordering the Proton 500 shortly.
myrcode
I'm using the TST relay. I bought all TST stuff for both the R3 and the FZ07. I've been very happy with everything else except for the FZ07 LEDS. The ability to change blink pattern on the Protons and DRL brightness is a bonus too!
