level41
Behold, this thing of wonder, A chinese clone 50cc motorcycle, called a "Yamasaki YM50-88"  I must say, it looks quite good, but a Yamasaki? 😂 They even have a forum dedicated to it (in German) at http://www.yamasaki-forum.com/forum
dmoney
They also make scooters which are quite popular in parts of eastern Europe from memory. I remember seeing one when i was there in 2002 and thinking it was hilarious
faffi
To top it off, it looks like the wheels and brakes have been lifted off a 1982 Suzuki 😄
Premium Member Mr.Puss Posted September 24, 2017 Premium Member Share Posted September 24, 2017 Oh China...always, original.  Very suitably, utilitarian. Crush your enemies. gregjet
The wheels and brakes are common pattern Chinese stuff. A whole heap of manufacturers there make exactly the same components. The wheels are a little heavy but not too badly made ( I guess they have to handle the crappy Chinese rural roads) . The bearings SUCK!!!. The brakes are surprisingly good for little bikes though. My first race bike was a very modded chinese made Sachs that had those wheels. Go forth and modify my son...go forth and modify...

level41
This yamasaki is only 50cc. However the Suzuki seems a lot bigger (perhaps a 500-650cc?). Those small brakes on such a big bike, is a big no-no. They're ok to brake from 35MPH, but not from 75MPH.
faffi
I was referring to the design, not usefulness, since I found it funny that the Yamasaki looked like a Suzuki
