Global Moderator jeffkisthename Posted November 2, 2017 Global Moderator Share Posted November 2, 2017 Though I am a part of FZ1 Forums, nothing beats the group here. I've met many friends, because of this forum. My brother and I have 3 bikes total in the garage: a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636, 2014 Yamaha FZ1 and the 2015 Yamaha FZ-07. The FZ-07 was my learner bike, and what a great bike it still is. I don't think we'll be getting rid of that thing. It just keeps going without much issues if any. This thread though, will be about my second bike, the 2014 Yamaha FZ1. Please enjoy the progression of this bike. I purchased this bike with 878 miles on the odometer from a consignment Motorcycle Shop. It came with only one mod, a Yoshimura R-77 Slip-On. My 2014 Yamaha FZ1: When I bought it When I picked it up When I brought it home, I installed Techspec Tank Grips and Woodcraft Frame Sliders (less than 24 hours of ownership)

Global Moderator jeffkisthename Posted July 31, 2019 Author Global Moderator Share Posted July 31, 2019 There’s been some changes recently... Changed the Levers to CRG and swapped out the stock metal LighTech Heel Guards to Carbon Fiber. Changed my Mivv Exhaust out for an Olson Performance shorty. Installed the HealTech SpeedoHealer V4 I bought damn near two years ago (could have been longer)... The highest speed recall button: Added a DynoJet Quick Shifter. Simply install, plug leads into PC5 and turn the thing on via LapTop. Installed a 12V plug. Yay! I can charge my phone! And after all of that...had some fun. Check it out here: https://www.instagram.com/p/B0WOuQ7neCb/?igshid=1g0rlezo5nw3f Still loving this bike. Installed some LED Bulbs I got from Mike. Updated my stator magnet. elmo
Jeff, Not sure if you do track days, and perhaps a bit late. But Yamaha is sponsoring a Sonoma raceway track day event after the Moto America weekend and occurs on Monday 12th. Check-in with the noted local sponsors and ask if they any spots available for the Monday Yamaha only day for$150. It's a 2-day event but Tues all bikes are allowed and fills up quickly. https://z2trackdays.com/2019_rworld/
