AlbatrossCafe
I ordered some Yamaha OEM heated grips. The Yamaha UK shop has a connector that connects the heated grips to the OEM plug underneath the rear seat so that power comes on with the ignition instead of being tethered directly to the battery. Link: https://www.yamaha-motor.eu/uk/accessories/genuine-options/electrical/heated-grips-connector-cable/BC6-H253L-00-00/details.acc I don't want to pay $30 shipping for a $10 part, so I was gonna make my own. Anyone know what the names the two connectors are? The white connects to the the OEM FZ-07 aux power, and black connects to heated grips. Super bonus points if you can find a link to a similar, pre-made US-based connector ☺️ Dual headlights or deathhttp://fz07.org/thread/5384/albatrosscafes-galleryhttp://fz07.org/thread/5174/dual-headlight-upgrade-completed
AlbatrossCafe
Wait is our US aux power connector only 2 wire, and the euro spec bikes 3 wire? rick
That's for the Tracer 700 - unobtanium here so far. Look here for a similar connector http://www.cycleterminal.com/motorcycle-connectors.html as well here http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/connectors.html Our Aux plug is only a 2 amp circuit - prolly not enough for heated grips.
