zerofz07
This Sunday i had a blast. I went to San Diego but took a longer route then just a straight path there. I remember for a friends birthday we took that route but i couldn't remember it. luckily when i took pics on my phone from back then it had locations tagged in it. I found the route and went on the trip and boy did i have fun. Here are some pics and the route i took, I took a lot more but for now this should be good. In total the trip was 11 hours. Cant wait to go on this mini trip again.

Spanglo
Nice. I went on a similar cruise today from SD, up the 67 to Ramona, 78-79-76 to Palomar Mountain, up S6 to the observatory, E Grade rd down, and took the 79 thru Julian to the 8 freeway back home. Forgot my phone at home or would've shared some pics too. How was the Sunrise Hwy leg of the trip? Might try that route next time.

I'm curious, is that one of those strap on air seats I see on your seat? If so, how do you like it? Beemer

Thank you thank you. yes it is, its the Air Hawk seat. i found it for a great deal on craigslist and i use it everytime i go on long rides. i love it because it allows me to do long rides. keeps my bum cushy and unless im doing 3 hours of non stop straight riding, i dont feel any pain. Since i stopped every hour or 2 hours the pain was the bare minimum.
Spanglo
Oh I forgot to ask about the hwy 243 portion? Looks fairly twisty on the map...

shinyribs
Awesome ride, man. It's been way too long since I've had the chance to be out on a bike all day like that. That's what it's all about IMO.
Zephyr
Looks like a great ride. Glad you were able to get out and enjoy one for us. Today was strikingly beautiful over here....
