Slee
2017 MT07 standard muffler. I have what looks like black oil specs on the outlet. Is this normal?
Premium Member Evill_Ed Posted April 4, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted April 4, 2019 Yup, it's just carbon and condensation (black water) cleans right up with some WD-40 and a rag. Premium Member Laben Posted April 4, 2019 Premium Member Share Posted April 4, 2019 You'll see this on ANY exhaust whether it's a car or motorcycle. Car's that have been modified will have a considerable amount more though. Also, a bike that's not tuned right might puff the black residue as your shifting. SixSpeeder
When I ran the stock muffler, I always had those black specs on the tip cover. My Two Bros exhaust doesn't have that issue.
