raulgm
Hello guys! I would like to start this topic in order to discuss about which chinese rearset we should choose. I found differents "models" like: Kemimoto, Arashi, BDJ, FXCNC... What is your opinion about this? How can we identify a good chinese model? stickshift
I think it depends on the use: racing, track riding or street?
Premium Member blackout Posted April 4, 2020 Premium Member Share Posted April 4, 2020 I would save up for Woodcraft. Made and designed in the USA. 2 Craig Mapstone Upstate New York

You get what you pay for with rear sets. Every part on Woodcraft is replacable. When something breaks on the Chinese (and they will), you have to start over. 3 ""W.O.T. until you see god, then brake"

Premium Member DewMan Posted April 4, 2020 Premium Member Share Posted April 4, 2020 Cheap mirrors are one thing. Buy them all day. They're not a safety hazard unless you get smacked with one as it flies off. Cheap pegs are another issue entirely. They are primary control surfaces that allow you to control the bike. Losing a peg while riding can cause a serious issues. Especially if you're going to be riding aggressively. I know rearsets aren't cheap. I get it. But neither are the repairs if one of the cheap chinesium pegs snaps off or connecting rod comes lose while leaned over in a curve. Save up for a quality set that will be cheaper in the long run. The same advise goes for cheap levers. You don't want a brake lever snapping in half when you're panic braking for a cager that wasn't paying attention. All that being said, you get whatever you want. You're an adult. The risks are yours to manage. 4 DewMan Just shut up and ride.
shintachou
I buy Chinese products all the time, but I will never get motorcycle control related item from a “cheap” Chinese source. Life is not worth the gamble with questionable Chinesium.
