NCPT
New to the forum here. Recently acquired a 2016 FZ07 and this bike is awesome. I'm adjusting the bike to me by putting the shock on the stiffest setting (I'm 210lbs geared up) and putting on a new set of handlebars. Looking under the passenger seat tonight and found this connector. I haven't traced it but I'm hoping someone can tell me what it's for. Thanks! Triple Jim
It's a connector to talk to the ECU. Dealers can connect to it to read the codes, reset them, etc.. You should be able to buy a reader and an adapter so you can too. Unfortunately my 2020 MT-07 is less standard and I haven't found a reader to actually link to the ECU, despite sellers' claims. Its basically Yamaha's version of your cars OBD (OnBoard Diagnostic) port. DewMan Just shut up and ride.
