Steps: Loosen top triple-clamp pinch bolts Loosen fork cap up to 1 turn Remove from bike Put brake caliper ears in a vice Take a ratchet strap and loop it around fork cap and hook onto caliper ears, apply ~2 inches of compression to spring Unscrew bolt with a 8mm hex bit in an impact wrench Problems: * bolt won't come out from damper rod - Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
