So i finally got around to fitting the new SC Project CR-T exhaust.. damn this thing is the angriest sounding 07 iv heard yet! some may find it a little loud.  Overall quality is nice, welds and the carbon has better finishes than the Akra carbon i last had but this is more expensive so i guess you get what you pay for.  Only complaint it didn't come with fitting instructions, which is weird because unlike the Akra where its only 3 pieces, this exhaust comes in about 7.  Not exactly rocket science either though haha

Well I had the Carbon Akra with the baffle out and this thing is much much louder. Loudest exhaust I've heard on the 07 before this was the Akra titanium and still the sc is louder. I would not recommend this if you do much freeway cruising. My mechanic thinks it's a tad over the top and said he can make a baffle to install in the mid section if I want it any quieter

Definitely louder than my Akra C.F. with baffle in. Amazing how with the exhaust pointing backwards, it's so loud you can easily hear it from the front long before the bike gets close.  ::)

Ugh this is my dream exhaust, glad to see someone on here with one. You running a fuel controller as well? I am a tad worried about the noise on this one as I do live in an apartment however... I might end up killing the engine at the end of the block and then wheeling it home haha.

Your bike looks fucking great btw.

This exhaust in a car park is going to set some alarms off haha. The bike is running a pcv, but sc do have a fuel controller you can package in with the exhaust if you want

Sounds like my Akra Carbon when I take the muffler off AKA a straight pipe and run it for 10 seconds before I have to save my ears.

This would make sense as the exhaust literally looks like straight-pipe with the smallest "muffler" possible. Straight pipe has the coolest sound but I nor anyone around me can take the volume very easily so I couldn't do it.

Do you think it would be possible to run these two exhausts with just swapping the link pipe and silencer?

I've mailed SC-Project about it. Would be useful for the times a not so noisy system is needed. The XSR system is actually really nice looking, I might just buy that instead.

Whew that XSR exhaust looks beautiful. I assume the full system will fit on an FZ07, correct?

I don't see why it wouldn't.

You can already buy a sc system like that. Just get the normal sc that's been out for years the only difference is that it has a carbon tip
