faffi
The eliminator kit sitting there now is held my 3 bolts - I haven't removed it yet, but I presume it hides a hole where the aluminium bracket of the stock fender mounts? Unsure where the plastic bit sitting below fits if not. free unlimited image hosting
Global Moderator mjh937 Posted May 10, 2017 Global Moderator Share Posted May 10, 2017 I am not quite sure I understand your question but the stock fender was attached with four bolts. If your eliminator only uses three I would not worry as long as it feels firmly mounted and looks okay.
faffi
The eliminator is attached by two bolts at the rear, and one in the centre a bit forward. The pattern is incompatible with the 4 bolts used to mount the stock fender. Then there is the plastic thing sitting between the two aluminium brackets that seems to be too low to meet anything - unless the brackets go up beyond the inner fender cover. Looking at the FSM didn't really help me much, either. I guess I'll just have to remove the eliminator and see how things are looking.
